Chestnut-sided Warbler

The chestnut-sided warbler is one of the most commonly seen warblers at Magee Marsh in May, especially around the middle of the month.  The mature male's plumage is so distinctive that confusion with other warblers at Magee is almost impossible.  Look for the yellow cap, the chestnut side, and the strong black face markings.
